Van Egmond House officially opens new Britannia Picnic Pavilion

On Saturday, the historic Van Egmond House officially welcomed a new pavilion to its grounds: the Britannia Picnic Pavilion, made possible through a donation from the Britannia Mason Lodge in Seaforth, which has since disbanded. The funds were donated from the proceeds of the sale of the Lodge’s former building. After a clean archeological assessment last year, the path for the pavilion was cleared.
