U15 BB Huron Heat head to Waterloo for annual Ravens' tournament

This weekend, the U15 BB Huron Heat will be in Waterloo to take part in the Waterloo Ravens’ annual tournament, beginning with a pair of Nov. 3 games, taking on the host Waterloo Ravens and the Guelph Junior Gryphons.
The team will then play the Flamborough Falcons on Saturday, Nov. 4, in hopes that they’ve made a good enough impression to earn some play on Sunday.
Also on Nov. 3, the U9 B Heat will welcome the Wilmot Wolverines to Clinton for a regular season game, while the U13 BB Heat will host the London Devilettes in Seaforth.
The next day, Nov. 4, the U9 HL and C teams will play two South Huron Sabres teams on the road, while the U11 HL Heat will host the Bluewater Hawks HL team in Seaforth and the U13 HL team will play the St. Thomas Panthers HL team on the road.
There are eight games on the schedule for Heat teams on Nov. 5, beginning with the U13 C Heat welcoming the Central Perth Predators C team to Clinton, followed by the U9 B team hosting the South Huron Sabres in Clinton and the U13 BB team playing the Woodstock Wildcats, also in Clinton.
The rest of the games will be on the road.
The U11 C Heat will play the Twin Centre Hericanes C, the U18 BB Heat will play the Brantford Ice Cats, the Senior team will play Monkton, the U18 C team will play the Tillsonburg Lightning C team and the U15 C team will play the Wilmot Wolverines C team.
On Nov. 6, the U13 HL Heat will travel to Woodstock to play the Wildcats HL team, followed by a Nov. 8 game between the U18 C Heat and the West Oxford Inferno C team in Thamesford.
On Nov. 10, the U18 BB Heat will play the Orangeville Tigers in Seaforth. Then, on Nov. 11, the U9 HL and C teams will play two Lucan Irish teams in Seaforth, while the U13 HL Heat will host the Woodstock Wildcats HL team in Goderich and the U9 B Heat will welcome the Cambridge Roadrunners to Seaforth.
The U15 BB Heat will also play the Roadrunners that day, but in Cambridge. The U11 HL team will also be on the road, playing the Sabres HL team in South Huron, while the U15 BB Heat will play their second game of the day, taking on the Woodstock Wildcats on the road and the U18 BB Heat will welcome the Brantford Ice Cats to Clinton.
On Nov. 12, the U13 C Heat will host the South Huron Sabres C team in Clinton, followed by a game between the U15 C Heat and the St. Marys Rock C team and the U15 BB Heat will welcome the South Huron Sabres to Clinton.
The U11 BB Heat will be on the road to play the Owen Sound Ice Hawks and the U13 HL Heat will play the Irish HL team in Lucan. The Senior team will welcome the Upper Maitland Mustangs to Hensall for a home game and the U9 C Heat will be in Milverton to play the Central Perth Predators.
Looking back, on Oct. 29, the U13 C Heat beat the Woodstock Wildcats C in Clinton by a score of 2-0, while the U13 BB Heat beat the St. Thomas Panthers, also in Clinton, by a score of 5-0.
The U18 BB Heat lost to the Stratford Aces that day in Seaforth by a score of 3-1. The Senior team played Milverton in Hensall, the U11 BB Heat hosted the Ayr Rockets in Clinton and the U9 C and HL teams played the North Middlesex Junior Stars and the South Huron Sabres, respectively, on the road, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
Through the weekend, the U18 C Heat played in the Northumberland Halloween Havoc tournament, losing their first game to the Brockville Angels on Oct. 27 by a score of 3-0, but winning their second, against the Timmins Falcons, by a score of 1-0. Then they lost their third game of the tournament, played on Oct. 28, against the Napanee Crunch, by a score of 1-0, but won their next game by a score of 2-1 over the Clarence-Rockland Lightning by a score of 2-1.
The U9 B team was also in tournament action that weekend, taking part in the Central Perth Hocktoberfest tournament in Milverton, playing the Tillsonburg Lightning, the St. Marys Rock and Wingham/Lucknow, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
Also on Oct. 28, the U13 BB Heat tied the Lakeshore Lightning in Seaforth by a score of 2-2, while the U13 HL Heat beat the Wallaceburg Lakers on the road by a score of 8-0. The U11 HL Heat lost to the St. Thomas Panthers HL by a score of 4-1 and the U11 C Heat beat the Twin Centre Hericanes C by a score of 3-1.
The U15 C Heat tied the Tillsonburg Lightning at one on the road, while the U13 C Heat beat the Lightning in Tillsonburg by a score of 9-0. Also that day, the U18 BB Heat beat the Waterloo Ravens by a score of 4-2. The U9 C and HL teams played two Lambeth Lancers teams in Seaforth that day, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
In regular season action on Oct. 27, the U13 BB Heat lost to the Lakeshore Lightning in Seaforth by a score of 3-0, while the U15 BB Heat beat the Stratford Aces, also in Seaforth, by a score of 2-1.
The U15 C Heat lost to the Central Perth Predators C team on the road on Oct. 26 by a score of 1-0, while the U11 BB Heat lost by a score of 2-1 to the Grand River Mustangs on the road on Oct. 25.
On Oct. 23, the U15 C Heat beat the St. Thomas Panthers HL team on the road by a score of 2-1.
