U11 Huron Heat heading to Newmarket for Panther Pride Tournament

The U15 BB Huron Heat were in Waterloo over the weekend, taking part in the annual Waterloo Ravens tournament, but came home with one win and three losses in their pockets.
The team’s tournament action began with Friday games against the host Waterloo Ravens, who beat the Heat by a score of 2-1, and the Guelph Junior Gryphons, who the Heat beat by a score of 6-4. The next day, however, the team lost to the Flamborough Falcons by a score of 3-0 and then the Ravens again by a score of 3-0 to end the Heat’s tournament run.
Also over the weekend, the U13 C Heat beat the Central Perth Predators C team in Clinton by a score of 4-0 on Sunday. The U13 BB Heat beat the Woodstock Wildcats, also in Clinton, by a score of 2-0, while the U11 C Heat beat the Twin Centre Hericanes C team on the road by a score of 4-1 and the U18 BB Heat tied the Brantford Ice Cats at one on the road.
The U18 C Heat lost to the Tillsonburg Lightning C team on the road by a score of 2-0, while the Senior team was on the road to play Monkton, the U15 C Heat played the Wolverines C team in Wilmot and the U9 B team hosted the South Huron Sabres in Clinton, but scores for those games were not available at press time.
Last Saturday, the U11 HL Heat beat the Bluewater Hawks HL team in Seaforth by a score of 4-0 and the U13 HL team beat the St. Thomas Panthers HL team on the road by a score of 5-2. The U9 HL and C teams were both in action that day as well, taking on Sabres teams in South Huron, but scores for those games were unavailable at press time.
Last Friday, Nov. 3, the U13 BB Heat tied the London Devilettes at one in Seaforth, while the U9 B Heat hosted the Wilmot Wolverines in Clinton, but a score for that game was unavailable at press time.
On Wednesday, Nov. 1, the U13 C Heat lost to the Mitchell Meteors on the road by a score of 1-0.
On Nov. 6, the U13 HL Heat played the Woodstock Wildcats HL team on the road, followed by a Nov. 8 game between the U18 C Heat and the West Oxford Inferno C team on the road, but scores for those games were not available at press time.
Looking ahead, on Nov. 10, the U18 BB Heat will welcome the Orangeville Tigers to Seaforth, followed by a full slate of games on Nov. 11.
The U9 HL and C teams will host two Lucan Irish teams in Seaforth that morning, while the U13 HL Heat will welcome the Woodstock Wildcats HL team to Goderich and the U9 B team will host the Cambridge Roadrunners in Seaforth at noon.
The U15 BB Heat will also play a Cambridge Roadrunners team, but on the road. The U11 HL team will also be on the road for a game with the South Huron Sabres HL team. The U18 BB Heat will play the Brantford Ice Cats in Clinton that night, while the U15 BB Heat will be in Woodstock that night to play the Wildcats.
On Nov. 12, the U13 C Heat will play the South Huron Sabres C team, the U15 C Heat will play the St. Marys Rock C team and the U15 BB Heat will play the South Huron Sabres, all in Clinton. Meanwhile, the U11 BB Heat will be in Owen Sound to play the Ice Hawks, the U13 HL Heat will play the Lucan Irish on the road, the Senior team will welcome the Upper Maitland Mustangs to Hensall and the U9 C team will be in Milverton to play the Central Perth Predators.
On Nov. 14, the U18 BB Heat will be in Wilmot to play the Wolverines. Then, on the weekend of Nov. 16-19, the U18 BB Heat will be in Barrie for Sharkfest, the U11 HL team will be in Newmarket for the Panther Pride tournament and the U11 BB, U13 BB and U18 C Heat teams will all head east for the Stratford Festival Cup.
The U18 BB Heat will open their tournament with a game against the Ottawa Valley Thunder, followed by a contest with the tournament hosts, the Barrie Sharks.
The U11 HL team will begin tournament play with a game against the Central York Panthers Green team, followed by a game with the Toronto Leaside Wildcats Royal team. The U13 BB Heat will first play the Brantford Ice Cats in their tournament before taking on the Ayr Rockets later that day.
The U18 C Heat will first play the Huron Bruce 86ers for their tournament, followed by a game with the Wilmot Wolverines.
Amid all that tournament action, the Senior team will have a regular season game with Belmore on the road.
Tournament action then continues on Saturday, Nov. 18, as the U18 BB Heat will play the South Huron Sabres, the U13 BB Heat will play the St. Thomas Panthers and the U11 HL team will play the Sudbury Lady Lynx. The U18 C Heat have two tournament games scheduled that day, first taking on the St. Thomas Panthers and then facing the Belmont Blazers.
In regular season action on Nov. 18, the U9 C and HL teams will be in Ilderton to play two Jets teams, while the Senior team will be in Wilmot to play the Wolverines.
On Sunday, Nov. 19, the U13 C Heat will be in Clinton for an exhibition game with the Lucan Irish, followed by two more games in Clinton: the U13 HL Heat hosting the Wallaceburg Lakers HL team and the U15 BB Heat taking on the Lakeshore Lightning.
Also that day, the U15 C Heat will play the West Oxford Inferno C team on the road and the U11 C Heat will play the Irish C team in Lucan.
