Trent "Butch" Murray Caldwell
Trent “Butch” Murray Caldwell passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Feb. 25 in Blyth at the age of 58.
He was the proud dad of Tylor Hogue (Melanie), Kaylen and Nicole Good, and Nicole “Nikki” Caldwell (Will). Trent was the son of Evelyn and the late Lou Robichaud, and John “Jack” and the late Erlene Caldwell.
He was the special grandson of the late Earl and Margaret Caldwell, the spouse of Angela Caldwell and the brother of Gail Caldwell, Jackie and Craig Caldwell-Dymer and the late Lorna Fraser and Nelson Caldwell. Trent was the brother-in-law of Randy Fraser and Donna Caldwell.
He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, stepbrothers, stepsisters and friends. Trent will be specially missed by his furry friend Rascal.
Trent was full of life and showed it. He loved playing guitar and sharing it with everyone. His claim to fame was when PedestrianZ opened for Goddo.
His best times would be jamming around the campfire at Donnybrook and searching for pretty stones at the beach. He spent many years landscaping and specializing in caring for rose bushes. He loved his family, friends and pets and always had a joke for everyone.
Friends and family are invited to a come-and-go celebration of Trent’s life on Saturday, March 23 from 2-4 p.m. at the Blyth Legion.
A celebration jam session will take place at the Goderich Legion on Friday, March 15 from 7:30-10 p.m. If you have an instrument, please bring it and please feel free to attend both events.
In lieu of flowers, and as expressions of sympathy, donations to Music Heals or Music Box Children’s Charity would be appreciated.
Please send donation cheques to Box 199, Blyth, N0M 1H0.
