Tom was a well-loved friend and family man. He loved spending time with his family, much of it in the bush with his girls planting the thousands of trees that he did over the course of his life. He also enjoyed camping with friends and family.
Tom was a very proud father of his three girls and always took great interest and encouraged them throughout their lives. Tom adored his six grandchildren and they could often be found sitting with grandpa watching YouTube videos and enjoying four-wheeler tours in the bush. He always greeted his family at the door with a warm hello and happy smile.
He was a loving husband of Joyce for over 38 years and they enjoyed many good times over the course of their marriage and, in recent years, enjoyed travelling together. Tom will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.
Visitation was held at the Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth on Friday, Dec. 31.
Tom had a passion for the outdoors and took great pride in his property and the friends and family that gathered there with him and shared his joy for nature. Tom’s casual outdoor funeral service was held at the Williamson Farm on Friday, Dec. 31.
