Thomas Mason Telford Bailey

Thomas Mason Telford Bailey, born near Sarnia on Nov. 27, 1925, passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on Thursday, March 11, 2021. He was  in his 96th year.

 

Mason was predeceased by his wife Hazel of 61 years, brothers James and William, daughter Mavis, son Clifford, and granddaughter Charlotte. He is survived by his sister Isla of London. Mason was the proud father of Larry Bailey, Valerie Leibold, Dan (Sandy) Bailey, Bonnie Linton, and Thomas (Gail) Bailey.  He will be fondly remembered by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

Mason was a respected businessman for many years and served on several boards, including those of the Clinton Public Hospital and Clinton Community Credit Union. He also served on the municipal council of Blyth, including two terms as Reeve. 

Cremation has taken place. There will be a short graveside service at Blyth Union Cemetery at a later date.
