Thomas Franken

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Tom Franken, Goderich, on Jan. 26, 2022. He was in his 59th year. 

 

Tom was an amazing and loving husband of Susan Franken and a very proud and caring dad of Cassidy Franken, Robbie Franken and Danielle Dale. He was the adored “Bampa” of Charlotte Franken. Tom is survived by his mother Emma (VanLammeren) Franken. He was predeceased by his father John Franken. 

 

Tom is survived by brothers and sisters Harry and Charlene Franken, Ingersoll; Marg Miller and Denis Medd, Egmondville; Ed and Bonnie Franken, Teeswater: John Franken, Teeswater; Paul and Lorraine Franken, Clinton; Mike Franken and Sara Wood, Dungannon; Dave and Lisa Franken, Blyth, and Mary Anne Franken-Millian, Petrolia. He was the brother-in-law of Micheal Chisholm and Tabatha Darrell. Tom is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 

Tom was predeceased by his mother-in-law Patricia Chisholm and brother-in-law Dave Miller. 

 

Tom was a one-of-a-kind man. He had a great sense of humour and loved to laugh. He was a friend to all and would help anyone who needed it. Tom loved to sit on the front porch and have friends and family stop by for a visit and stay for a tea.
A celebration of life will be held on March 5 from 2 - 6 p.m. at  Dungannon Hall. 
Cremation has taken place.
