Thelma Marion (née Glazier) Wilson

Mrs. Thelma Marion (née Glazier) Wilson, passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home, Brussels, on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. She was in her 93rd year.

 

Thelma was the beloved wife of Jim (2018) for 67 years and the loving mother of Frank and Sharon of Blyth. She was the cherished grandmother of Mark and Kris, Harpurhey and Dean and Kristin, Waterloo, and great-grandmother of Kylin and Tysen.

 

Thelma was a very loving person; she adored her family and considered them a labour of love. She taught honesty and how to do things properly. She was an amazing cook and creative baker, always making birthday cakes special. She liked to square dance and decorate for those square dances, as well as decorate her windows for every occasion at their store uptown. Thelma was a long-time United Church Women member in Blyth and enjoyed volunteering at her church. 

 

Friends and family were received for visitation at Riverside Funeral Home, Blyth Chapel on Thursday, April 6 followed by the funeral service.

 

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Blyth United Church or Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
