Stanley Brian McClure

Stanley Brian McClure of Walton, passed away suddenly, as the result of a motor vehicle accident, on Thursday, June 4, 2015. He was in his 57th year.

Stanley was the beloved husband of Donna (née Willis) McClure for 34 years and the loving dad of Tina McClure (Glenn Lamont), Cargill; Trish McClure (Scott McLellan), Cambridge and Robbie McClure (Amanda), Seaforth. He was the dear brother of Bill (Sharon), Winthrop; Laverne (Nita), Walton; Clyde (Cathy), Walton; Neil, Huron Park; Rae, Forestburg, Alberta; Fred (Heidi), Walton; Edward, Walton; Carolyn Johns (Gerald), Exeter and brother-in-law of Sharon Dalton, Blyth; Wayne Willis (Lucy), Morinville, Alberta and Dianne McCallum (Paul), Walton. Stanley will also be missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.

Stanley was predeceased by his parents Harvey and Bessie (née Callum) McClure and in-laws Archie and Mabel (née McWhirter) Willis.

Visitation was held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth on Sunday, June 7. Stanley’s funeral was held at Egmondville United Church on Monday, June 8. Pastor Stephen Hildebrand officiated. A reception followed at the Seaforth Agriplex. Interment took place in Maitlandbank Cemetery.

The pallbearers were Jason Dalton, Jamie Dalton, Kenny McCallum, Randy McClure, Matt Jones and Adam McClure. Stanley’s nieces and nephews helped as flower bearers.
