Seaforth Centenaires host another successful Ham Slam game
On the last Saturday before Christmas, the Seaforth Centenaires went ahead with an annual tradition unlike many others with the Ham Slam - a fun audience participation tool that allowed spectators to throw - à la a teddy bear toss - hams (or other types of pork products) onto the ice after the home team scored its first goal of the game. Luckily it didn’t take long and then the ham started coming.
While it was a good night for the Seaforth Food Bank, it was also a good night for the Cents, who beat the Tavistock Royals by a score of 5-1. (John Stephenson photo)
