Seaforth 150th Homecoming was a perfect weekend for the town

For generations, the Seaforth and District All-Girls Marching Band has entertained the masses in Seaforth and beyond at parades or other public events that have defined the town. So, it is perhaps only fitting that the band was a big part of the Seaforth 150th Homecoming celebrations over the weekend, including the parade on Sunday.

 

The homecoming’s opening ceremonies were on Thursday night, followed by a full slate of events over the course of the next four days, wrapping up on Civic Holiday Monday. Seaforth Summerfest was a big hit with the young people, as it always is, and the parade was well-attended as well.     (Mark Nonkes photo)
