Sarah (Frey) Martin

Sarah (Frey) Martin passed away peacefully at her home in Brussels on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021. She was 78.

 

Sarah was the beloved wife of Oscar M. Martin for 56 years and the loving mother of Clare and Suzanne Martin, Forester’s Falls; Andrew Martin, Elmira; Leo Martin, Moorefield; Willard and Linda Martin, Gowanstown; Janice and Clare Wagler, Belleisle Creek,  New Brunswick; Norma Martin, Brussels; Mark and Lois Martin, Millicent, Alberta  and Carl Martin, Patricia, Alberta.

 

She was the loving grandmother of 29 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

 

Sarah is survived by her siblings Henry Frey, Lovina and Amos Martin, David and Doreen Frey, and by her sister-in-law Maryann Frey.

 

She was predeceased by her son Merlin Martin, grandson Scott Martin, great-grandson Trayden Martin, parents Amos and Lucinda (Brubacher) Frey, siblings Aden Frey, Noah and Florence Frey, and Allen Frey, and by her sister-in-law Martha Frey.

Viewing by invitation only was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

 

A private family interment will be held at Brotherston Mennonite Cemetery, Wallace Township, on Thursday, Jan. 28 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a phone line service at 10:30 a.m.
