Sandra Garnet

Sandra Garnet passed away on April 6, 2022 at the age of 60 into the arms of her loving Saviour, Jesus Christ. 

 

Sandy was the beloved wife of Brian Garnet, Blyth, mother of Jason (Angie) Bechtel, Durham; Greg (Erin) Bechtel, Ingersoll and Sean (Erica) Bechtel, Wingham and the stepmother of Kelly Garnet, Toronto and Steven Garnet, Utah. She was the daughter of Don and Carol Plant, Londesborough and the sister of Don (Elma) Plant, Cambridge; Dave (Stacy) Plant, Nipissing and Trisha (Glenn) Ryan, Alberta. Sandy was also survived by 13 grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

 

Sandy was an integral part of the Central Huron community, having invested her life into the lives of so many through the Clinton and Central Huron BIA, the Huron County HIV/AIDS Network and the Made in Huron Artisan Market, etc. Sandy will be missed greatly by the many whose lives she touched.

 

Visitation was held at Huron Chapel in Auburn on April 8 and 9. The funeral service was held Saturday, April 9 and was followed by a private burial.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

 

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton.
