Robert Allan Foxton

Robert Allan Foxton of Wingham passed away suddenly at Wingham and District Hospital on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He was 82.

 

Bob was the beloved husband of Marlene (Ste. Marie) Foxton of Wingham and the devoted dad of Mary Beth Foxton, Mark and Lisa Foxton and Murray and Laura Foxton, all of Wingham. He was the cherished papa of Nick and Skylee Chippa and Leah and Maya Foxton and the great-grandpa of Cooper Chippa. 

 

Bob was the dear brother of Dianne and Don Cameron, Connie Hickey and Jo-Ann Rintoul and the brother-in-law of Erwin and Shirley Ste. Marie and Thelma Ignor. 

 

Bob will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Myrtle (Holloway) Foxton and his brothers Ron, Ken, Ted, Bud, Bruce and Doug Foxton.

 

Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, July 9. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Saturday, July 10. Bob’s final resting place is at Wingham Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Huron-Perth, OneCare or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
