Olave Irene Little

Olave Irene of Seaforth, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Stratford Hospital on Jan. 5, 2022. She was 97.

 

Olave was the beloved wife of the late Bill Little for over 50 years and the mother of Gary Little, Mississauga; Faye Elliott (John), Amaranth; Dyke Little, Kirkland Lake and Neil Little (Ginny), Brantford. Olave was the proud grandma of Ida (Ken), Reid (Melanie), Ryan (Rebecca), Shawn (Erin), Sandra, and Jeff and great-grandmother of Alice, Lyla, Rowen, Owen, Eli, Sage and Xavier. She was the dear sister of Edna Stinson, London. Olave was predeceased by nine siblings. 

 

Olave was a life-loving gutsy lady, who was always happy and smiling. She enjoyed golf, dancing and travelling. Olave was truly an inspiration to everyone and had a great ride in this world, where she took advantage of many opportunities. 

 

In keeping with Olave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be held at Maitlandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. Arrangements were entrusted to Haskett Funeral Homes, Seaforth.
