Noreen Haines

Noreen Haines of Wingham passed away peacefully at Braemar Nursing Home on Thursday, July 29, 2021. She was 97.

 

The former Noreen McAllister, Noreen was the loving wife of the late Carmen Haines who predeceased her in 2006. She was the cherished aunt of Karen and Dale Wardley, Gail and Paul Heffer and Carl and Marilyn Haines. Noreen will be lovingly remembered by Doris and Jim Taylor and their family as well as her extended family members. 

 

She was predeceased by her parents David and Jane (née Caslick) McAllister, her brother Mervin McAllister and his wife Shirley, her nephew David Haines and dear friend Norman McKee.

 

Noreen’s family would like to thank the staff at Braemar who provided wonderful care during her time at both the retirement and nursing home. The staff treated her like family and made her final years at Braemar enjoyable. 

 

A private service with interment took place at Teeswater-Culross Cemetery on Wednesday, Aug. 4. Rev. Colin Snyder officiated.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wingham United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
