Nesbitt Murray Edwards

Nesbitt Murray Edwards passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30 at Seaforth Community Hospital. He was in his 90th year.

 

Murray was the loving partner of Beatrice Rehberg for 15 years, the father of Gord (Joan), Brenda (Brian) and Doug and the grandpa of eight and great-grandpa of 10.

 

Murray was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Marion (Sales), his wife Lorraine, his sisters Bernie and Florence and his brother Don and daughter-in-law Jennifer.  

 

Murray loved to farm. He started right out of high school and didn’t retire until he was 85. He loved to build things and was quite the handyman for his neighbours, even building five of his own houses. 

 

At Murray’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the London Regional Cancer Program at London Health Sciences Centre would be appreciated.
