Nancy Jean Allen

Nancy Jean Allen of Londesborough passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer and with Keith by her side, at Huron Hospice Bender House on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024. She was in her 80th year. 

 

The beloved wife for 58 years of Keith Allen, Nancy was the dear mother and mother-in-law of Don and Catherine of Londesborough, Mark and Ellen of Benmiller, Drew and Liz of Londesborough and Paula of Londesborough. 

 

She was the loving grandma of Emily (Jeff), Mikayla (Pat), Mary Kate (Drew), Matt (Cassandra), Josh (Kristina), Damon, Faith, Carson, Ryan and Brynn and great-grandma of Alice, Sawyer, Karter and Kyler. 

 

Nancy was the sister and sister-in-law of Pat Sills, Connie Mellen, Karen Scruton and Gloria and Wayne Jackson. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. 

 

Nancy was predeceased by her parents Jack and Margaret Scruton, parents-in-law Tom and Genevieve Allen, sister Elaine Craig, brother Don Scruton, brothers-in-law George Sills and Larry Mellen, niece Colleen Edwards, nephews Ken Jackson and Steven Mellen.

 

Friends and family were received at Falconer Funeral Homes - Clinton Chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 23 and Wednesday, Jan. 24, followed by the funeral service. Following cremation, spring interment will go ahead at Clinton Cemetery.
