Marguerite Anne (née Appleby) Peckitt 

Marguerite Anne (née Appleby) Peckitt passed away peacefully on Feb. 24, 2025 at Venvi, Prince of Wales Retirement Community at the age of 88. 

 

Marguerite was predeceased by her beloved husband John. She was the loving mother of Jacquelyn (Martin), Jeffrey (Janet), Michael, Stephen (Christine) and Kimberly, the proud grandmother of Andrew (Danielle), Olivia, Jon, Jordan, Kristopher (Jill), Stephanie (Nolan) and great-grandmother of Leo, Quinn, Blair and Wren. 

 

She will be dearly remembered by her extended family and friends. 

 

Family and friends are invited to visit the Beechwood National Memorial Centre on Saturday, May 17 after 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces in Ottawa and a reception. 

 

In memoriam donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or the charity of your choice.
