Madeline Bean

Madeline Bean was born on Oct. 24, 1931, in Goderich Township, to the late Benson and Irene McCullough. She was the devoted wife of the late Verne Bean (2018) for over 66 years. 

 

Madeline was the dear mother of Donna (George) Adams, Port Albert and Rhonda (Dan) Butt, Central Huron. She was the cherished grandma of Steven (Janet) Adams, Dungannon; David (Lisa) Adams, Lucknow and Peter Adams, Grimsby and the great-grandma of Dayton. 

 

Madeline is survived by her sister, Mary Lamb, and sisters-in-law, Sharlene Bean and Irma Mason. She was predeceased by siblings, Howard McCullough, Clayton McCullough, Elwin McCullough, Edna Oakes, Jessie McKenzie and Joanne Lamb. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

 

At Madeline’s request, there will be no funeral home visitation. Interment is at Colborne Cemetery. 

 

Memorial donations in Madeline’s name may be made to Christ Church, Port Albert, Huron Hospice Bender House, Goderich Legion - Poppy Fund or the charity of one’s choice.
