Keith Robert McLean

Keith Robert McLean passed away suddenly on March 17, 2025 at the family farm outside of Brussels at the age of 64.

 

He leaves behind his wife Pamela (Engel). Keith was the loving father of Cole and Jessica McLean, Shea McLean and Alanis Clarke, Brock McLean and Ashley Higgins and the proudest grandpa of Isla, Lincoln, Clyde, George and Roy.

 

Keith was the brother of David (Madeline), Doug (Janet), Ken (Bev), Glenn (Yvonne), Karen (Rayner) Wosnitza, special friend of Wayne Bell and Dawson Peachey and brother-in-law of David (Janet) Engel, Judy (Tina) Engel. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

 

Keith was predeceased by his parents, Donald and Iona McLean, sister-in-law Shirley McLean and his in-laws John and Pat Engel.
Keith was well known to the area. He had a big heart and was friends to all, young and old, who stopped by the shop. Keith was very proud of the men, business owners and fathers his three sons had become. 

 

His eyes lit up around his grandchildren and he ensured the shop was always stocked with freezies. 

 

Keith worked his whole life in the cattle business, starting at a young age working at Brussels Stockyards and then with McCall Livestock. He dabbled in farming, feeding cattle and growing some crops on the family farm outside of Brussels. Have a cold one for Gator.

 

Cremation has taken place.

 

Please join Keith’s family for a celebration of his life on Friday, March 28 at the Brussels Legion from 2-5 p.m. 

 

Donations in Keith’s name may be made to Brussels and/or Grey Fire Departments.
