Kathleen Ethel Bridge
Kay Bridge of Brussels, passed away at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on April 20, 2015. She was 85.
The former Kay Heibein, was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Bridge who predeceased her in 1995. Kay was the dear mother of Garry and Tanya Bridge, Waterloo; Donna and Tom Scoggins, Brampton, Cathy and Owen Curtis, RR 1, Wingham and Jackie Bridge and George Kingyens, Tiverton. She was the loving grandmother of Jen Watts, Kiel Watts, Christopher Watts, Samantha Hayes, Chad Rutledge, Reid Jamieson and Davis Jamieson and the great-grandmother of 13. Kay was the sister of Stan Heibein, Ruth Parkhouse, Julenia Draper, Jack Heibein, Bill and Debbie Heibein, Joyce and Fred Jones and Phyllis and Tom Hanna. She is also survived by Gerald’s family. Kay was predeceased by her parents George and Charlotte (Candler) Heibein, daughters Brenda Jamieson (1988) and Pamela Rutledge (1977), her grandson Scott David Hayes (2010), sisters Jean Fox, Gertrude Lambkin and her brother Lloyd Heibein.
Memorial services were held at McBurney Funeral Home Ltd., Wingham on Friday, April 24. Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated.
Memorial donations to the ALS Society of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
