June (Judy) Marie Sproul (Taman)

June (Judy) Marie Sproul (Taman) has passed away at the age of 77. 

 

The beloved spouse of the late Delmar Sproul, Judy was the loving mother of David (Barb) Sproul, the cherished grandmother of Brad (Jessica) Bernard and she was loved beyond measure by her great-grandson, Greyson Bernard. 

 

Judy was the sister of Richard Taman and sister-in-law of Gary Sproul (Marg). 

 

She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Taman, her father, Wesley Taman and siblings, James Taman, and Lyle Taman. Judy was also predeceased by her mother-in-law Mae and father-in-law David Sproul, sisters-in-law Eileen Sillib (Geordie) and Louise Schade (Delford) and brother-in-law Gordon Sproul. 

 

She is survived by her many cherished nieces and nephews and longtime friends. 

 

Judy enjoyed her bingo and card games with her girlfriends. She also loved to dine out with family and friends. 
One of her last dreams was being in a dance competition with her great-grandson Greyson and winning first place. 

 

Judy enjoyed many vacations with her family and friends. She enjoyed and treasured the little things in life. She will be loved, and greatly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to spend time with her.

 

The family received friends at the McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Goderich, on Thursday, Feb. 8 and the funeral service was held at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 9. Interment to take place at Dungannon Cemetery. 

 

Donations to the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital Foundation’s “Dialysis Unit” or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
