John Thomas Sims

John Thomas Sims passed away peacefully at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020. He was in his 82nd year.

 

John was the beloved husband of Isabel Sims (neé Bratby) for 52 years. He was the loving father of Kevin Sims (Sharon) and the late Brenda Sims (2016). He was the cherished grandfather of Carter Sims, Kelsey Sims (Kyle) and Whitney McKichan (Craig) and great-grandfather of Harlynn and Emery. John is survived by his brothers Harold, George and Collin.

 

Prior to his retirement, John was a manager with the Royal Bank of Canada throughout southwestern Ontario.

 

The funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 21 at McKinlay Funeral Home, Ridgetown. Cremation followed with interment to be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London at a later date.
