Johan "John" Wesselink

Mr. Johan “John” Wesselink of Blyth passed away at Huronview Home, Clinton, surrounded by family on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016. He was in his 88th year.
John was the beloved husband of the late Derkje Wesselink (Nov. 2, 2015), the devoted father of Joan and Dirk deLange, Stratford; David and Joyce Wesselink, Brussels; Margaret and Bill Karelsen, London; Darlene and Andy VanderVeen, Blyth and Grace and Roy Schinkel, Dorchester. He was the cherished opa of Christa and Shawn Dennis, Derek and Kelley deLange, David and Brittany deLange, Justin Wesselink, Adam Wesselink, Josh Wesselink, Evan Wesselink, William Karelsen and Christine Creelman, Jody and Jason Mulder, Andrea and Brent Myers, Nikki and Robert Wynja, Janelle and Jason DeWitt, Shawn and Dawn Schinkel, Aveleen Schinkel, Dayna and Jordan Barons and Cody and Emily Schinkel.
John was loved by 10 great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Nien Hendrick of the Netherlands and was predeceased by grandson Jesse Wesselink.
Friends were received at the Falconer Funeral Homes, Blyth Chapel on Aug. 4. The funeral service was held Aug. 5 at the Blyth Christian Reformed Church. Interment was at Blyth Union Cemetery.
