Joan (Fowler) Hoggarth
Joan (Fowler) Hoggarth of Londesborough passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Seaforth Community Hospital on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at the age of 94.
The beloved wife of the late Raymond Hoggarth (2000), Joan was the proud mom of Vic and Mary of Tiverton, Buck of Londesborough, Robert of Londesborough, Don and Wilma of Mitchell, Howard and Sue of Bayfield, and Jerry and Shani of Whitechurch. She was the adored grandma of 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and the dear sister of Anna Gertrude-Boyle (Trudy) of St. Thomas, and Gwen Rivett of Squamish, British Columbia.
Joan will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Fred Fowler and Helen Deeves, her sister Pauline Kennedy, and one great-great grandchild.
Joan was an avid reader and always enjoyed having a good book on the go. She was known far and wide for her delicious, perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies. Above all, she cherished every moment spent with her family.
Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Burn’s Cemetery, Hullett Township.
