James Lawrence “Jim” Taylor

James Lawrence “Jim” Taylor of Wingham passed away at Wingham and District Hospital on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023. He was 78.

 

The devoted husband of Doris (Ross) Taylor, Jim was the loving dad of Trish Taylor and Jason Brown and Sherry Taylor. 

 

He was the cherished grandpa of Alex and Cameron Wickhorst and Taylor and Jayden Gutscher and the brother and brother-in-law of Ruth Gordon, Joyce and John Thompson, Doreen and Jack Mali, and Jim and Donna Ross. 

 

Jim will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families. 

 

Jim was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Margaret (Robinson) Taylor, sister Mary Taylor, brother-in-law Bob Gordon and parents-in-law Russell and Erma Ross.

 

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, Nov. 10, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Reception will follow at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.

 

The funeral will be live-streamed and a link available on the McBurney Funeral Home website.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Belgrave Community Centre or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
