Hilda Veenstra

Peacefully at Huron Hospice Bender House, Clinton on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, Mrs. Hilda Veenstra of Clinton passed away in her 96th year. 

 

The beloved wife of the late Joost Veenstra (2006), Hilda was the loving mother of Greta De Vos of RR4, Wingham, Bonnie Ross and Bill Wall of RR1, Bluevale, Joe and Debbie Veenstra of Vanastra, Arthur Veenstra of Varna, and Wilma Veenstra of Clinton. 
She was the cherished grandmother of Greg and Jade De Vos, Allen and Rebecca De Vos, Nicole and Chris Casemore, Angela and Scott McPherson, Austin and Sarah Veenstra, Lateesha and Mitch Partridge, Dylan Veenstra and Emily, and Savannah Veenstra. She was also loved by 12 great-grandchildren. 

 

Hilda was the dear sister-in-law of Betty Leystra of Wyoming. 
She was predeceased by her son-in-law Jack Ross, and by her sisters and brothers. 

 

Friends were received at the Clinton Christian Reformed Church on Sept. 6, followed by the funeral service. Interment was in Clinton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Huron Hospice Bender House would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes – Clinton.
