Grietje (Kroesen) Jacklin

Grietje (Kroesen) Jacklin of Listowel passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, March 13, 2025, in her 79th year.

 

The wife of the late Russell Jacklin, Grietje was the mother of A.J. and Sheri Jacklin, Rob and Sandra Jacklin, and Mike Jacklin, all of Listowel. She was the grandmother of Andrew Jacklin, Kayla Jacklin and Brayden Keyes, Ashley Jacklin, and Christina Jacklin, and great-grandmother of River.

 

Grietje was the sister of Antonia (Toos) Turton of Goderich, John and Liz Kroesen of Waterloo, Henry and Donna Kroesen of Toronto, Adriana Corbeil, and Tony and Linda Kroesen, all of Listowel.

 

She was predeceased by her parents, Klaas and Adriana (DeWit) Kroesen, and brother Klaas Kroesen.

 

Visitation was held at Listowel Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 18 from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m.

 

Spring interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel.

 

Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Listowel Baptist Church would be appreciated and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
