Gregory “Greg” Bruce Ducharme

Gregory “Greg” Bruce Ducharme passed away suddenly on Jan. 19, 2026.

 

The husband of Nanci (Bennett) for 40 years, Greg was the dad of Evan and Victoria Ducharme, Danielle and Chris Jutzi and the grandpa of Wilson and Clara Ducharme, and Nora and Jaxson Jutzi.

 

He was the son of Dorothea and the late Oscar Ducharme (2018), the brother of Murray Ducharme and Kimberley Ducharme and brother-in-law of Peter and LuAnn Bennett.

 

He will be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and by the McDonald family, past and present employees of McDonald Home Hardware and its many customers and contractors.

 

Greg was predeceased by his in-laws, Ross and Margaret Bennett.

 

A life-long devoted Home Hardware employee, Greg started his career at the age of 14 with McDonald Build-All. The McDonalds were like family. 

 

He was also a dedicated Brussels Lions Club member for over 40 years. He enjoyed coaching, being on the executive and watching his son play hockey. Nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than his four grandchildren and dog Cailee.

 

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place in the spring.
