Glen Casemore

At Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on Friday, March 28, 2025, Glen Casemore of RR4, Wingham, passed away at the age of 90. 

 

The devoted husband of the late Margaret (Brown) Casemore, Glen was the cherished dad of Paul Casemore of Stony Plain, Alberta, Bruce and Cindy Casemore of RR4, Wingham and Danny Casemore and Sabrina of Hanover. He was the loving grandpa of Shawn Casemore, Jeff Casemore, Ashley and Ryan Shaw, Brandon and Tori Casemore and Katelyn and Colton Hastings and great-grandpa of Cole and Maverick Shaw and Callum and Clara Hastings. He was the brother-in-law of Mary Brown and Gerry Edwards of Goderich.  

 

Glen will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families.

 

He was predeceased by parents, Milo and Edna (Gibson) Casemore, daughter-in-law Donna Casemore, sisters June Saunders and Betty (Jack) Glousher, sisters-in-law Marjorie Knight, Evelyn Smith, Isabel (John) Armstrong, Audrey (Howard) Ellacott, Bernice Edwards and Fern Matheson and brothers-in-last Stan and Floyd Brown. 

 

Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Glen’s birthday, Friday, April 4 from noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery and reception will follow at the Wingham Columbus Centre.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
