Frances Ruth (nee Knip) Wynja of RR 4, Seaforth, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She was 60.
Frances was the beloved wife of Allen Wynja for 39 years and loving mom of Lisa and Paul Vandendool, Steven and Allison Wynja, Brian and Karen Wynja, Sharon and Greg Greidanus, Robert and Nikki Wynja and Laurie and Jeff Bylsma. She was the cherished grandma of Sean, Abby, Kyla, Kate, Anna, Ben, Jace, Tysen, Hailey, Cole, Carter, Leigha, Melanie, Ashlyn, Lane, Lydia and Jonathan. Frances was the loving daughter of Karen Knip, Exeter and daughter-in-law of Teresa Wynja, Egmondville. She was the loved sister of Fred and Eileen Knip, Cliff and Karen Knip, Rolinda and Ron deRuiter, Victor Knip and sister-in-law of Gerben and Jeanette Wynja, Gerda and Gary Dill, Hessie and Dave Kipfer, Martin and Mary Wynja, Hilda and George Ridley, Corrie and Larry Moir and Sandra and Troy Hoggart. Frances will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Frances was predeceased by her father Harry Knip, father-in-law Gerrit Wynja, grandson Lucas Wynja, and brother-in-law Jeen Wynja.
Visitation was held at Vanastra Community Christian Reformed Church on Sunday, March 8. The funeral service was held on Monday, March 9. Pastor Paul DeWeerd officiated. A reception immediately followed. Spring interment will take place in Egmondville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Frances’ sons, Steven, Brian, Robert and her sons-in-law, Paul, Greg and Jeff.
