Festival stars get engaged during curtain call for 'The Wind Coming Over the Sea'
On Tuesday afternoon, the Blyth Festival closed its original run of Emma Donoghue’s The Wind Coming Over the Sea at Memorial Hall (the run has been extended with additional shows now planned for late September and early October), but the show wasn’t the only thing to celebrate. Stars Landon Doak, who will not be returning for the extended run, and Shelayna Christante got engaged on the Memorial Hall stage during the curtain call, much to the delight of the sold-out crowd.
