Elo Shantz Martin

Elo Shantz Martin passed away at his home in Brussels, on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was 57. 

 

Elo was the son of Clayton Martin of Linwood and the late Elvina (née Shantz) Martin (2017). He was the husband of Debbie Martin; the father and step-father of Samantha, Justin, Alicia, Ben, Tanya (Richard), Sonya, Chrissy and Pauli (Jimmy) and the grandfather of 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

 

Elo was the brother of Levi and Betty Martin, Holyrood; Adam Martin and Sherry, Breslau; Allan and Laurene Martin, Elmira; Lydia Martin, Linwood and Jonas Martin and Loleen, Collingwood. Elo was predeceased by his sister Nancy Martin (2020) and three nephews.

 

A drive-past visitation was held at the family farm at 5502 Ament Line, RR 1, Linwood on Tuesday, June 29. A private graveside service by invitation only was held on Wednesday, June 30 with interment at Linwood Union Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
