Dwayne William Achilles

Dwayne William Achilles of Stratford, passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on July 16, 2017 after battling cancer. He was 47.

Dwayne was born in Clinton, October 3, 1969, the son of the late Donald Achilles and Kathy Schaeffer (Keith). 

Dwayne is survived by his companion Betty Trotter. He was the loving father of Meghan (Devon), Mari-Lyn, Dwayne Jr., Alena, Coby and Dylan, brother of Dan Achilles (Karen), Chrissie Ney (Tom), Denise Schaeffer, Diane Schaeffer and Kevin Schaeffer and uncle of Donny (Andrea), Joey (deceased), Karlee, Jenna (Terry), Jacob, Breanne and Elizabeth. 

Dwayne worked at A.O. Smith and CR Plastic Products for many years. 

A celebration of Dwayne’s life will be held at the Sebringville Community Centre on Sunday, July 30, from 1-5 p.m. 

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society through the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford.
