Douwe (Don) Greidanus

Douwe (Don) Greidanus passed away and entered the arms of his loving saviour, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, in his 91st year. 

 

He will be dearly missed by his children, 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. 

 

Don was born in Tzum, Friesland in the Netherlands and immigrated to Canada on April 26, 1951, with his family, to Clinton. 
Don married the love of his life Greta and spent most of their life farming near Londesborough, where they raised 10 children. They were members of the Blyth Christian Reformed Church.

 

Friends were received at Falconer Funeral Homes - Clinton on Wednesday, Jan. 21 and the funeral service was held at Blyth Christian Reformed Church on Thursday, Jan. 2. Interment will be at Blyth Union Cemetery.
