Donna Kay Hamm

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Donna Kay Hamm (née McVittie) announce her sudden passing at her residence in Blyth on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021. She was 84.

 

Donna was the beloved wife of Murray Hamm for 65 years and the devoted mother and mother-in-law of Linda and Fred Meier, Bill Hamm, Anita and Brad Bromley and Becky and Gerard Howard. She was the cherished grandmother of Heidi and David Laing, Laura and Greg Blackwell, Kerri Meier, Nicole and Pat Donnelly, Charity Hamm, Shawn and Lisa Bromley, Charlene Bromley and Daniel Mullin and the precious great-grandmother of Aydan and Hailey, Andrew and Nigel, Sam, Beth and Camille, Jax, Knox and Erix, Murray and June and Chloe, James and Michael.

 

Donna will be lovingly remembered by her sister Jean Thompson and sister-in-law Mary Hamm. She was predeceased by her parents Kelland and Elsie McVittie and parents-in-law George and Sadie Hamm and daughter-in-law Kathy O’Connor-Hamm.
At Donna’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Blyth Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Blyth United Church would be greatly appreciated.
