Dianne Mero

Dianne Mero, passed away suddenly while vacationing in northern Ontario, with family and friends by her side at Sudbury Health Sciences Hospital on Thursday, July 20, 2017.  

Dianne will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Harry Mero of Egmondville. She was the loved mom of Mark Mero, Seaforth and mother-in-law of Sarah Mero, Clinton and Tanya Mero, Exeter and the cherished grandma of Brayden and Dustin Mero. Dianne is also survived by her best friend Marie Little, Bayfield, special family Sport and Issy, and sisters-in-law Pat Mero, Kippen; Lorena Mero, Stratford; Shirley Brugger, Seaforth and Shirley Elliott, Kitchener. Dianne will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dianne was predeceased by her parents Mac and Bessie Elliott, her brother Bob Elliott, sister Janet Moir (Bruce), sister-in-law Theresa King (Frank), brothers-in-law Joe, David, Vern and John Mero, and her special family Queenie, Sir David, Lady, Tena, Detroit and Buddy.

Visitation was held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth,  on Sunday, July 23. A funeral service to celebrate Dianne’s life was held at Egmondville United Church on Monday, July 24. A reception followed in the church hall. A private interment will take place in Egmondville Cemetery following cremation.
