Delmar Sproul

Surrounded by his family, Delmar Sproul passed away peacefully at University Hospital in London, on Aug. 30, 2021. He was in his 79th year.  

 

Delmar was the loving husband of June (Judy) Taman for 57 years; the cherished father of David (Barb) Sproul and the proud grandfather of Brad (Jessica) Bernard. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Gary Sproul (Marg), brother-in-law Rick Taman and nieces and nephews. Delmar was predeceased by his parents Howard and Mae Sproul, brother Gordon (Irene) Sproul, sisters Ilene (George) Sillib and Louise (Delford) Schade.

 

Delmar had a passion for hunting and travelling the world. He loved to watch a good Toronto Blue Jays baseball game and live boxing matches. He also enjoyed being a building contractor and had a passion for farming.

 

He was the founder of Delmar Sproul Insurance Brokers, now operating as McConville Omni Insurance Brokers. At one point he had his hands in all three operations. 

 

A private graveside service was held at the Dungannon Cemetery.  A celebration of life will follow at a later date. 
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
