David Joseph Goodland

David Joseph Goodland peacefully went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the age of 77.

 

Dave was born in St. John’s Newfoundland on Dec. 24, 1947 and moved to Ontario, as a young man, where he met his beloved wife Carol, of 53 years.

 

He was a loving dad to Tim, Tammy, and Tracy and will be missed by his grandchildren Zachary (Rachel), Greg, and Cameron and his great-grandchildren Jacquelyn and Jamie. He will also be fondly remembered by Maggie, Al, and Laura.

 

Dave was predeceased by his infant son Richard, his parents Jack and Mary Goodland, four brothers - John, Bill, Justin, and Noel and sister Hope.

 

He was a skilled electrician and served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Dave had a friendly smile for everyone and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

 

Visitation will be held at Brussels Mennonite Fellowship on Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. until the time of the celebration of life at 11 a.m. 

 

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Brussels Mennonite Fellowship or Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
