Crystal Angela Grace (Huffman) Taylor
Crystal Angela Grace (Huffman) Taylor passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Monday, Sept. 18 in her 63rd year.
The loving wife of Jim for 43 years, Crystal was the mother of Jamie Taylor, Ashley (Matt) Bromley, Jenna (Jordan) Gibbings, and Andrew (Meghan) Taylor and the grandmother of Tori and Juliann Taylor, Carson, Sydney and Brooklyn Bromley, Callie and Chase Gibbings, and Mackenzie, Aubree and Peyton Taylor.
Crystal was a great volunteer and she loved her community. She was passionate about the Legion youth Track and Field competition and was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, serving as chairman of many different committees for 37 years.
She was renowned for her cooking and her butter tarts. She was selfless person and a fierce advocate for those who needed it. Crystal’s pride and joy were her grandkids, whom she loved very deeply. She was known for special grandma hugs and pulling the “Grandma Card” whenever needed.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date and a celebration of Crystal’s life will take place on Sunday, Sept. 24 from 1-4:30 p.m. at the Lucknow Legion.
