Bob McKague

At Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels, on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024, Mr. Robert John McKague of Wingham, passed away at the age of 95 years.

 

The beloved husband of the late Helen (Walters) McKague, Bob was the dear father of Ron and Nancy McKague of Walkerton, and Murray and Shirley McKague of Wingham. He was the loving grandfather of Ruth Anne and Steve Stewart, Matt and Stephanie McKague, Courtney and David Bognar, Olivia McKague and fiancé Devon Christiensen and Jason and Jessica McKague and the great-grandfather of Natalie, Tyler, Leah, Emma and Eleanor. Bob was the brother-in-law of Audrey McKague of Kitchener.

 

Bob was predeceased by his parents, John and Jessie (Currie) McKague; son, Gary; sister Jean Leitch and her husband Ken, and by his brother Ken McKague.

 

Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, on Tuesday, Sept. 17, where the funeral service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Interment will be at Wingham Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wingham or the Wingham and District Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
