Auburn Horticultural Society marks 75th anniversary with special event

The Auburn Horticultural Society recently marked its 75th anniversary with a party attended by many members, past and present. It began with a self-guided tour of the community and a scavenger hunt, followed by greetings, presentations and fellowship to mark the historic milestone for the small, yet mighty society.

 

President Marita Oudshoorn oversaw the program, which saw the society honoured by the provincial society and two members - Karen Redmond and Joni Reinhart - presented with service certificates.  (Shawn Loughlin photos)
