Arthur Gerald Laidlaw

Arthur Gerald Laidlaw passed away at Braemar, Wingham on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. He was in his 83rd year.

Art was the beloved husband of Gwen (McDowell) Laidlaw, Wingham and the cherished father of Karen and Norman Cameron, Paris and Nathan Laidlaw, Wingham. He was the dear grandfather of Lizzie and Gwendolyn Cameron. 

Art will be lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law Anne Laidlaw, Wingham and Hazel Laidlaw, New Hamburg, brother-in-law Gerald McDowell and his wife Carol, Auburn as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Art was predeceased by his parents Robert and Violet (Bidgood) Laidlaw and brothers Raymond and Clifford Laidlaw.

Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on May 5. The funeral service was held at Wingham United Church on May 6. Rev. Richard D. Hall  officiated. Interment was in Wingham Cemetery.
