Annie May Beatrice Campbell (née Walters)
Annie May Beatrice Campbell (née Walters) of the McKillop ward of the Municipality of Huron East, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the Bluewater Rest Home in Zurich, on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. Born in Tuckersmith Township on Feb. 2, 1920, she was in her 98th year.
Beatrice was the beloved wife of the late Allan Campbell (Oct. 1993) and loving mother of Brian and Carol Ann, Winthrop; Robert and Ruth, Seaforth; Ronald and Darlene, London and Sheila and Vince Nicol, London. Beatrice was the cherished grandma of 12, great-grandma of 23, and great-great-grandma of four. She was the dear sister of Lloyd Walters, Exeter and Eileen Culver, Brantford. Beatrice will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Beatrice was predeceased by her husband Allan, granddaughter Kaitlyn Ann Nicol, parents Frank and Ila (née Townsend) Walters, sisters Amy Horne (Don), Dorothy Twyford (George), and her siblings-in-law, Barbara Walters and Murray Culver.
Visitation was held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, on Tuesday, Sept. 5. A funeral service to celebrate Beatrice’s life was held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
Interment took place in Maitlandbank Cemetery followed by a reception at Cavan United Church in Winthrop.
