Ana Paula Xavier-Lammerant
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ana Paula Xavier-Lammerant, of Seaforth, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all whose lives she touched, on Feb. 9, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.
Ana was the beloved wife of Randy for over eight years. Ana was the twinkle in his eye and the beat of his heart and as Ana would say – the pain in his butt. She was the cherished mother of Chris Silva (Nikita), Jessica DaSilva, and Melissa DaSilva; the loving stepmom of Logan Lammerant, and Wade Lammerant and the proud grandma of Elliena DaSilva.
Ana is survived by her mother Maria Peixoto Xavier, parents-in-law Andre and Joyce Lammerant; sisters Claudia Xavier (Fernando) and Sonia Xavier (Mike). She will be missed by many friends and extended family. Ana was predeceased by her father, Olavo Xavier and mother-in-law Agnes Lammerant.
Despite Ana being taken too soon, she lived an extraordinary life and left a mark on all our lives with her kindness. Her smile lit up the room and she had a special way with words to bring laughter in our lives. With that said she was genuine to a fault, a pussy cat (or lion) at heart and yet she sugar-coated nothing.
Ana loved the water and ensured that vacations were along the beach or ocean. She had a knack for making a house a home, inside with her artistic decorating and outside as she enjoyed working in her gardens, with the help of her precious fur babies – Duke and Duchess, who enjoyed helping her work up the soil.
A private family funeral service will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth. Donations to Jessica’s House in Exeter would be appreciated. Messages of condolences are welcome at www.haskettfh.com
When you think of Ana, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
